Crafted with love and care, from sycamore wood. Each piece is meticulously refined and finished by hand. Then sealed with a minimum of three coats of food-safe natural oils and waxes. This helps to protect the wood and bring out its natural beauty.

That said, wood has come from a living material. Over time - with use, contact with food, and shifts in humidity - the surface may change slightly in colour or texture. This is normal, and part of the life of the object.

While the finish provides a good resistance to moisture and staining, no wooden surface is fully stain-proof or waterproof. Particularly with the lighter woods, it’s advisable to avoid leaving heavily dyed foods sitting on the pieces for too long. As some staining or discolouration can occur.

To care for your piece:

• Hand wash only, with warm water and dish soap. Avoid soaking and do not wash in a dishwasher.

• Dry fully before storing.

• Reapply a natural wood balm or food-safe oil (like mineral oil or linseed) occasionally to keep the surface nourished and smooth.
